My daughters have been attending Bridgeview Montessori school for 5 years, one is in the third grade, the other in kindergarten. It is a warm, supportive and creative environment. Students get a ton of extracurricular, especially art - 1.5 hours a week in art and art history (even in preschool), and 1/2 hour to 45 minutes in Spanish, Drama/Music weekly. 1st graders through 6th grade get yoga and fitness instruction.
This is truly a great small school with strong academics that fosters independence and a love of learning. Very nurturing and supportive environment.
I am in high school and i took a child development class and I would love to to work at the montessori school I am going to college to become a pre school teacher. I would like to work with the kids meet new people.
My Daughter attended Bridgeview and my son will start next year. The school is excellent in every way. Open, supportive and fun for the students. I highly recommend this school!
Bridgeview Montessori School is a wonderful school. My children have attended Bridgeview since pre-school and are now attending first and second grade there. The kids LOVE going to school each day. The teachers and staff are very caring and nurturing. The academic curriculum which consists of interactive and hands on lessons has given my children a true love of learning. There is an exciting enrichment program which includes art studio, art history, music, drama, yoga and Spanish. And the strong focus on respect and peace creates a sense of community which allows the children to feel welcomed and important. The education my children receive at Bridgeview is unmatched. We feel so lucky that our children have the opportunity to attend Bridgeview.
